The retail chain favorite who runs Eveyspreloved, which sells rare Chanel, Hermès and Dior bags costing thousands of dollars each, has issued a warning to those who might be offered discounted luxury goods.
Evey, 57, a mother of three and a TV regular since 2012, said: “Two men broke into the alarmed premises where my showroom is located, then broke into the showroom itself which was also alarmed. They were caught on CCTV stealing dozens and dozens of luxury bags and watches.
“Some were rare and valuable vintage and taken in a targeted attack. I am determined to do everything in my power to recover the items and raise awareness among unwitting buyers.
Brighton-born TV presenter and stylist Evey’s online retail business was established in 2021 and sells almost new products, a market which has exploded in popularity.
The men raided its premises in north London shortly before midnight on December 3 in an operation which cleared it of its stock. This left thousands of customers out of pocket.

Evey said: “I don’t have a physical retail business, so this seems particularly difficult as I have clearly been targeted. I want nothing more than to get my stock back quickly and reassure my customers that I will take every avenue possible to achieve this.
“I urge my colleagues at businesses like mine to be aware and alert, to report anything suspicious at this time and also for anyone purchasing Preloved at this time to be very careful if they recognize any items .
“I have to make the public aware that these goods that are circulating as I write are being stolen and I have to continue and persevere because I will not give in to what has happened.”
