Baileys shoppers urged to ditch Tesco and Sainsbury’s in favor of Morrisons by Thursday

It’s the creamy Christmas drink that has become a festive favorite across the country, but Baileys fans have been told they need to head to Morrisons if they want the cheapest deal.

The popular Irish liqueur is currently on offer at Morrisons for just £8.50 for a liter bottle in the run-up to the big day.

This undercuts prices at Tesco and Sainsbury’s, even for Clubcard and Nectar cardholders, who will both pay £10 for the same bottle.

Although you need a Morrisons More card to get the £8.50 price, there’s a bigger problem than that: Morrisons only offers the cheap booze to shoppers who spend £45 or more in store in a single transaction.

The offer is also limited to shoppers in England and Wales and is only valid until Thursday, December 12, so it doesn’t have long until it ends.

If you don’t have a More card, you can register for free online, via the More Card app or by picking up a physical card in store. You must be at least 18 years old and resident in the UK to get a card, which will give you access to lower prices on hundreds of Morrisons items.

You can earn points when you buy selected products in-store and online, and you’ll get five points for every liter of fuel purchased at Morrisons fuel stations. Once you reach 5,000 points, you can convert them into a £5 voucher, or ‘Fiver’.

Of course, if you don’t want to spend £45 on groceries just to get cheap alcohol, you can always get a liter bottle of Baileys at Tesco and Sainsbury’s for £10 if you’re a member of a Clubcard or Nectar card. .

Tesco’s deal ends on Monday, December 9, while Sainsbury’s ends even earlier, on Sunday, December 8.

The Tesco offer applies to Baileys bottles purchased in store and online in England and Wales with a Clubcard. In Scotland, shoppers can get a bottle for £11.05. If you do not have a Club card, you can sign up for one online for free.

The Sainsbury’s deal excludes Scotland and Sainsbury’s Local stores. If you do not have a Nectar card, you can register to be a member online and collect points through personalized offers from the supermarket and its rewards partners, including Argos, British Airways and Esso.
