According to the most recent travel advice from TUIthe travel and tourism agency, your visit to this privileged tourist place should be pleasant and you can expect plenty of sunshine and, probably, no rain during your stay.

“In summer, you can be sure of good weather in Greece. Temperatures are usually around 30°C and you can expect about 12 hours of sunshine per day. As for rain, it rarely falls in July and August.”

For those who enjoy cooler weather, spring and autumn offer plenty of sunshine and more moderate temperatures, usually around 25°C. These transitional months are ideal for visiting if you enjoy walking or sightseeing, as the heat is not overwhelming, even at midday. Occasional rain showers can also occur during these periods.

Weather maps have taken on an ominous dark red hue, indicating potential extreme heat for areas like Larissa, while other regions are bracing for high temperatures of 40-41C. Speaking about the so-called “heat bomb,” meteorologist Jim Dale of the UK Weather Service told Express.co.uk: “I think it will happen well before the end of July and continue into August.”
