M49 traffic: warning of ‘long delays’ after ‘collision’ | UK | News
Police have provided an update following a three-vehicle collision on the M49 today. They have confirmed that two lorries and a car were involved in the crash, which left three people hospitalised.
He warned drivers to expect the road to be closed “for some time”.
A statement from Avon and Somerset Police said: “The M49 is closed in both directions following a serious injury collision near Hallen.
“Emergency services were called shortly after 4pm on Friday 30 August to a collision involving two lorries and a car.
“Three injured people were taken to hospital.
“The road is expected to remain closed for some time as the collision is investigated and the vehicles are recovered.
