The LFB’s latest statement on the ongoing fire in Cricklewood, which has prompted National Highways to close parts of the M1, said crews from at least three boroughs were responding.
The statement said: “Six fire engines and approximately 40 firefighters are battling a fire at a commercial premises on Adrian Avenue in Cricklewood. A commercial premises is on fire.
“One of the brigade’s 32-metre turntable ladders is being used at the scene to help fight the fire from above.
“The first of 11 calls was taken by the fire brigade at 3.50pm. Crews from Hendon, West Hampstead, Willesden and surrounding fire stations are attending the scene.”
They added: “The cause of the fire is not yet known.”
