Dagenham fire LIVE: 100 firefighters rush to smoke-filled street | UK | News

Around 100 firefighters have been dispatched to the scene of a blaze in east London, with footage showing the entire street covered in smoke.

15 fire engines are parked on Third Avenue, Dagenham, this afternoon with two houses on fire.

London Fire Brigade is urging people to avoid the area as they battle the blaze.

A LFB spokesperson said: “We now have 15 fire engines and approximately 100 firefighters attending a fire on Third Avenue in #Dagenhamwhere two houses are currently on fire. Please avoid the area and keep windows closed due to smoke.”
